The Vocational Technology Building was conceived to support and augment the current vocational technology coursework offered at Citrus College. The Lobby, also known as the “showroom”, displays current and concept technologies. The building is organized in two wings. The east-west wing is located closest to the central part of the campus and is composed of flexible technology supplemented support classrooms along with a large lab to support their Administration of Justice Program. The north-south wing supports the Automotive Technology Program that is run in combination with Toyota Motors of California. The program is housed in large light filled, flexible automotive bays conceived to adapt to the changing needs of automotive diagnostics, repair and experimentation. Decentralized media centers are positioned throughout the wings to support the various offered vocations allowing quick access to information.
