The Higher Education Center is a high tech distance learning satellite facility designed to support the needs of the community of Garden Grove. The 3-story Center includes an Information Commons; an informal student commons area; 2 large lecture spaces; a student store and a student break area. The second floor houses six technology-augmented classrooms. The third floor contains four additional technology-augmented classrooms plus two specialized labs for Art and Science. The infrastructure accommodates a district-wide data network which allows all appropriate spaces to receive both internally and externally generated television programming.
