The two-story Liberal Arts and DSPS (Disabled Students Program & Services) Building consolidates Liberal Arts classrooms, DSPS and faculty offices into one location. The building features multimedia labs, instructional classrooms and a computer lab equipped with assistive technology for more than 1,500 students campus-wide with disabilities that includes text-to-speech software, voice recognition software, and specialized keyboards. Maximum flexibility was created into the building (including technology, utilities, raceways and furniture).
This project was developed by using Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, Autodesk Revit 2010, for schematic design, design development and construction documents.
