The Cypress College Library/Learning Resource Center is the heart of the campus, a new focal point to draw activities to the east end of the central campus quadrangle/lake. The building is comprised of a Learning Resource Center (LRC) on the ground level allowing 24 hour access / 7 days a week to ensure student success. The LRC accessed through a common entrance rotunda, includes a central computer learning commons, surrounded by a math/science lab, a foreign language lab, a teaching learning center, an online learning lab and group study rooms. The LRC promotes interdisciplinary support of instruction on campus. The library located on the second level due to the necessity of having limited access, a grand reading area, stacks, special reading rooms, study rooms, library staff support rooms and a bibliography orientation room which also facilitates online learning. The student spaces were arranged to provide great views towards the campus.
