The new 2-story Health and Science Building brings together two unique programs to create a highly flexible advanced learning facility at the heart of the campus. The building’s form is a response to the local wind and solar extremes of the site. Its curved form ‘protects’ the lush landscaped courtyard and outdoor hub of activity for the facility. Faculty offices ring this space, linked by a loop of circulation that accesses the perimeter day-lit classrooms and labs. The iconic form of the Planetarium Wing anchors the southeast plaza, creating an inviting gathering space for the campus community.
