Mesa Verde Middle School is a 6-8 facility with a capacity of 1,350 students and 110,000 square feet. Responding to the State’s Educational Document, “Caught-in-the-Middle”, the concept is an academic community comprised of “Village” clusters. These clusters breakdown the size of the school and foster a sense of connection for the students. Each radiates around a outdoor cloistered court for impromptu gatherings and formal instruction.

This school incorporates the technology as a key component to the school and the student’s future success. It contains audio-visual, administrative and information retrieval systems which are linked together in a school-wide data network.
