El Camino College Shops Building Opens

May 11, 2015 – The recently completed El Camino College Center for Applied Technology (Shops Building) is a replacement project for an outdated, unsafe, existing facility. The facility is the home of Automotive Technology; Automotive Collision and Repair; Welding Technology; and Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration programs. The labs and lab yards are safe, clean and supported by ubiquitous technology. Philosophically the traditional shops model has evolved to a hybrid interdisciplinary model. Read more/Portfolio:
