March 21, 2016 – Three Glendale Unified School District elementary school sites will be receiving new buildings as the result of the California Department of Education Overcrowding Relief Grants (ORG) Program. The Program identifies overcrowded elementary school sites and funds the replacement of existing relocatable classrooms with permanent facilities. The new facility design will reflect the culture and architecture of each of the three school sites. Play areas will be reclaimed with the removal of relocatable facilities. Construction will begin in June 2016, projects will be completed in June of 2017.
