The challenge facing the Mission Hills building design team was to build an iconic church and a school for 500 students on a 3 acre site, while maintaining the day to day operations of the church and school. This dense urban solution of 2-stories of educational facilities over parking, has allowed the team to meet the needs and ultimately provide a facility that will have twice the square footage and more than twice the playfield area of their existing facilities.

“The new Sanctuary forms the entrance gateway to Rancho Santa Margarita and what better inspirational reminder is there than a 50’ high cross.”
