The Citrus College Library/Learning Resource Center is an addition to and renovation of the well used, 1968 Library to meet the needs of a growing student population, create a technologically supportive environment, re-center the heart of the campus, and to create light filled spaces where students want to spend time. The hallmark addition to the modernist Library is a new entrance lobby/grand reading room which on one side focuses on the towering mountains, while on the other, creates a unique inside/outside relationship with the central quad. The central lobby/grand reading room fills the Library’s core with light.
