Concordia University

tBP/Architecture master planned the 120 acre site to meet the program’s demands of cohesive academic, spiritual and student life.

Client: Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod

The campus is master planned for 1500 students. tBP/Architecture completed the Gymnasium/Student Center, Library, Chapel/Performing Arts Complex and Residence Halls with a unified architectural theme for all future buildings. As part of the long range master plan, the Gymnasium/Student Center Complex was the start of the unifying element, a covered walkway which connects the buildings along the “spine”. This strong loggia form will continue westerly as facilities are built.
