Phil Newsom, Managing Principal of tBP/Architecture, is interviewed as part of an educational series for aspiring architects and newcomer designers by the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco (AFSF). In the interview with Zachary Waters of AFSF, Phil shares his personal journey of becoming an architect and emphasizes the value of communication and understanding of clients and end-users. As a former City College of San Francisco student, Phil also shares his gratitude for community college education and his ability to give back to public sectors through his work with projects like the Modesto Junior College Allied Health Building (pictured in his background).
