HISTORY

Founded by William E. Blurock, FAIA in 1952, the firm’s work from the 1950s through the 1970s was considered visionary in the burgeoning field of modern educational design. The firm was recognized for a spectrum of award-winning commercial, institutional and civic projects, and primarily for school buildings worldwide (Europe, South America, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East). Building upon this DNA of our firm, we are a vibrant, forward-thinking third-generation team that is nimble, agile, and responsive. Clients would say that our hallmarks are collaboration and listening which lead to providing inspirational, innovative, environmentally integrated, and responsive solutions that reflect each institution’s culture.
