tBP/Architecture provided professional design and construction support services to replace the Pool deck and resurface the swimming pool at Northwood High School (NHS) in the Irvine Unified School District (IUSD). A Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) of the Northwood High School pool was updated in April 2020 recommending that the existing concrete pool deck be completely replace. It also recommended that the swimming pool be repaired and resurfaced. In addition, the FCA recommended the installation of a new public address system, a new electronic scoreboard, and two modular wheelchair lifts.

Project scope includes:

• Remove and replace the pool deck
• Remove and repair the plaster pool finish
• Replace 16 starting block assemblies including the stanchion holder/frame (per lane)
• Install two modular pool personnel lift systems
• Install flag holes in both direction (10 total)
• Remove and replace the end line anchors
• Replace pool tiles
