CRESCENTA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL Sport Medicine Lab and Classroom
The Sport Medicine Lab and Classroom was built in response to growing student interest in the Medical Science and Sports Medicine career pathways. Treatment tables, rocking stools, and state of the art equipment in place of typical desks provide students with a hands-on learning experience. Students are able to practice physical therapy techniques and use the 3D Anatomage tables to study and dissect virtual cadavers. Located adjacent to the school’s sport fields and courts, the facility is a valuable resource for student athletes to learn proper exercise form as well as how to treat and prevent injury. The facility is the first of its kind within the Glendale Unified School District and was made possible through Measure S funds and a Career Technical Education Incentive Grant.
