After completing the project programming and conceptual designs for the new athletic fields at La Mirada High School, tBP/Architecture was equipped with an understanding of Norwalk La Mirada USD’s project goals and desires. tBP is providing architectural design services as well as coordination between various consultants for the Bond Measure G funded project. La Mirada High School will be able to increase athletic and physical education offerings to students with new NFHS and CIF compliant baseball field, practice field, softball field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and tennis courts.

Synthetic turf with incorporated cooling systems will cover all sport fields. Our collaboration with a specialty sports field consultant will ensure durability against years of games and activities. Accompanying the new and upgraded fields are bleachers, batting cages, dugouts, fencing, scoreboards, and lighting. Two new concession buildings and a team room will provide the space and resources to help keep athletes and fans game day ready.
