Las Positas College Agriculture Sciences: Viticulture Facility

The new LEED SILVER Viticulture facility will be comprised of instructional areas, hospitality areas, faculty offices, outdoor patio, wine production rooms and storage areas. Connecting the facility to the campus and vineyards will require pedestrian, car, truck and farm equipment access. Specifically, the program is split between two single story buildings; a dedicated Winemaking Building and a Classroom Building.

The project consists of, but is not limited to, the following elements and programs:

General site grading and utility infrastructure
Visitor Parking with clear paths of travel
Wine making Facility including classrooms/Labs, office/resource, Cold Storage, Outdoor Patio, and Crush Pad
Highly efficient building envelope and mechanical systems.
Drought tolerant planting and water-efficient irrigation
