LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Classroom Replacement Building
Portable classroom buildings were once a quick-fix for growing student enrollment. But as instructional, safety, and accessibility needs progressed, Lincoln Elementary School required a long-term solution to replace six portable classroom buildings and a restroom portable. Students and instructors benefit from the improved learning environment with classroom features like large presentation monitors, a multi-media teacher podium, easily movable tables and chairs, and LED lighting. The project’s program includes five standard classrooms, a computer lab, covered walkways, play area, and restrooms. Design flexibility was an important component for the future inclusion of new programs.
