This project entailed renovation of an existing classroom for the District’s home economics program. tBP/Architecture provided designs for 30 new home-style student cooking stations and a teacher demonstration station. New stainless steel equipment includes reach-in refrigerators, induction cooktop ranges with ovens, dishwashers, electric double-wall ovens, washer and dryer machines, cabinets, shelving, and other storage. Additionally, the HVAC, fire alarm, lighting systems, and toilets were upgraded to meet the current building code along with installation of new Type II hoods.
