Members of the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce gathered at the Oakmont Country Club to celebrate various community achievements. Glendale Unified School District Fremont Elementary School Replacement Classroom Building project, designed by tBP/Architecture, was selected as a 2017 Community Enhancement Award recipient. The Award honors “an individual, business or organization who has proven an asset to the community by improving the image and stature of the area.”
The classroom building was chosen because of its innovative design and for “enhancing” the community. Supported by an Overcrowding Relief Grant (ORG) and Measure S bond funds, tBP is proud to have helped provide an encouraging and inspiring learning environment for Fremont students. The Award was presented at the annual Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce’s Community Awards Dinner to Principal Christin Molano along with Board Members Shant Sahakian, Melinda Clarke, and Dr. Armina Gharpetian.
