The Rio Hondo College “L” Tower Interior Improvements project is a local bond-funded project that will repurpose an exterior under-utilized, 5-story building into the District’s headquarters and administrative offices. The project allows for consolidation of District departments within a single building and provides the departments with modern accommodations that will improve the daily work experience for the District’s employees. Furthermore, the improvements will provide for new branding opportunities for the District as it endeavors to expand its students and surrounding community. The project consists of lobby upgrades; interior improvements for offices, meeting rooms, and conference rooms; and board room facilities that are convertible into a conference center for community use.
